OMG! I just want to say i LOVE your tutorials and your site is such an amazing and generous resource….I love following along to your edits and i love the clean edits you create actions for…they are simply beautiful and truly *polished* ;)

I wanted to to write to give you that rave :) and to also ask you if…sometime in the future if you could make a video showing how to tackle those neon green colors we get in our photos from spring and summer time…i always have issues with images that i take when there is alot of greenery in my photos and they area beautiful images that i just say “ugh” to and brush off to the side because i am not a fan of that neon color…and i have tried selective color and i just can’t get it to look right to my eyes…So i would LOVE to see your play! (i know its winter but i would still love to see how you would edit an image like this)

    Thank you soooo much!!!
    Mari

Hi Mari! Thanks so much for visiting the site! I think I know what you are talking about with the neon grass in the spring/summer. If it’s what I’m thinking, the biggest thing for me is to shoot in the SHADE! The sun really has a way of making grass neon green, at least with my camera and in my experience. If this isn’t what you are talking about, feel free to send me an example and I will check it out!

I am using Elements 11. Do you know if these are similar, or would work to cross reference? Thanks for all the great info!!

    • Angie says:

Hi Sophia… thank you for visiting! I’m not familiar enough with Elements 11 to totally answer your question, I used it back when it was Elements 6. :) I do know that Elements has some of the same tools/menu items as Photoshop, but you’ll probably have to check it out on a case by case basis as you’re looking through the tutorials. (A great resource for Elements is http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com!) Thanks for visiting!
